Helping runners improve skills and reach goals, regardless of their starting point
Run21 has long standing and proven training programs that will get a beginning runner from 5k to 10k, a intermediate runner from 10k to 21k, and a long-distance runner from 21k to 42k. We may even turn some walkers into runners.
Our 2022 training programs will follow 2 x 21-week builds. The first 21 weeks will take us to the Scotia Bank Half Marathon or 10K in Calgary, and the second 21 weeks will take us to the two targeted events for this year. The Ottawa Colours Marathon (or half marathon/10K) in October, or the Richmond, VA Marathon (or half marathon) in mid-November. We offer the training schedule and road map - you bring the enthusiasm and commitment. Together we'll get 'er done.
Our training programs are based on the theory that training in lower heart rate zones builds speed, strength and endurance. Try it, you’ll like running low!
Your pace is our pace. The group runs at many different paces and no runner is left behind. There will always be someone to run with, and there's always somebody to chase.
